Car Shipping Discounts

Six discounts, four of them a straightforward 10%. The two without a published figure are arranged on the phone — we would rather tell you that than print a number we cannot stand behind.

Mention that you qualify when you request the quote, not after booking. A discount applied at quote stage is simply part of your price; one raised afterwards means re-pricing a shipment that has already been sourced.

The six

Military & Veteran Discount — 10% For active military personnel and veterans. Relocations under orders are one of the most common reasons people ship a vehicle, and the timing is rarely flexible.

Senior Citizen Discount — 10% For senior citizens, including seasonal moves between two homes.

Student Discount — 10% For students relocating for college or university. Term dates concentrate demand into a few weeks, so book earlier than you think you need to.

Car Dealer Discount — 10% For dealerships moving inventory, inbound or outbound.

Referral Discount Two-way: the person referring gets a discount on their next booking, and the person referred gets one too. Arranged by phone.

Government Agents Discount For government agents. Mention your affiliation when you call.

How to claim

1. Request a quote — form or phone, whichever suits.
2. Say which discount applies to you at that point.
3. We apply it to the quote you are given, so the price you see is the price you pay.

We do not ask for documentation up front. If eligibility needs confirming for your situation we will tell you what is needed before you book.

What the discount applies to

The discount reduces the transport price we quote you. It does not change how transport works: the factors that drive your quote — distance, lane density, vehicle size, running condition, open or enclosed, timing and season — apply the same way.

A 10% discount on an honestly-priced quote is worth considerably more than a large discount on an inflated one. We do not publish a rate card to discount from, and we would suggest treating any company that does with some care.

Before you book

• Say so at quote stage. This is the one thing that matters.
• Give a flexible pickup window where you can. It usually saves more than the discount does.
• Book early for term starts and seasonal peaks. Student moves in late summer and the autumn southbound snowbird movement both tighten carrier supply on the same corridors at the same time.

Genius Auto Trans LLC is a licensed and bonded property broker — USDOT 3674601, MC 1274912, Broker Property, ACTIVE with the FMCSA. Verify it yourself in the FMCSA SAFER system. We have been arranging vehicle transport since 2021, across the 48 contiguous states and Washington, DC. Alaska and Hawaii are not served.

We are a licensed and bonded broker, not the carrier. Every carrier we assign is required to hold active cargo insurance, and we will provide that carrier's certificate on request.
