Fast Car Shipping

Fast car shipping is for when your date cannot move. Not "would prefer sooner" — cannot move. A closing date, a report date, a flight already booked, a vehicle that has to be somewhere before something else happens.

Here is how it actually works, because almost nobody explains it and it changes how you decide.

Genius Auto Trans is a licensed and bonded property broker — USDOT 3674601, MC 1274912, Broker Property, ACTIVE with the FMCSA.

What expedited actually buys you

It does not summon a faster truck. There is no express lane, and the speed limit is the same for everyone.

What it buys is priority in the market. At any moment, a driver running your corridor is choosing between several available loads. Expedited raises what we pay that carrier so your vehicle becomes the attractive one to take first, rather than the one that waits for the next truck.

So what you are shortening is almost always the wait for pickup, not the drive. Once a vehicle is loaded, transit time is governed by distance and regulated driver hours, which no amount of money changes.

Two consequences worth knowing:

You may not need it. On dense corridors, carriers circulate constantly and a standard booking is often collected quickly anyway. Tell us your dates and we will tell you honestly whether your route needs expedited or whether you would be paying for something you were going to get regardless.

Open transport is usually the faster choice. Enclosed carriers are a much smaller pool, so enclosed and urgent pull against each other. If speed is the priority, open transport has far more trucks available to bid for your load.

What we will and will not promise

We will not guarantee a pickup or delivery date, and our Terms & Conditions say so in writing: pickup and delivery dates are estimates, and no guaranteed date is offered.

You will find companies on this search that do guarantee dates. Ask what happens when the guarantee is missed — because weather, traffic, mechanical failure and federally regulated driver hours are not within any carrier's control, and a guarantee that cannot survive those is a sales device rather than a commitment.

What we will do:

Can you pick up the same day?

Sometimes, and never as a promise made in advance.

Same-day and next-day collection genuinely happens — on a dense corridor, when a carrier is already nearby with deck space, priority pricing can put your vehicle on a truck within hours. That is a real outcome and we will pursue it.

What we will not do is sell it to you before we know whether it exists. Whether same-day is achievable depends on which trucks are physically near your pickup address today, and that is somebody else's fleet on somebody else's schedule. A broker promising same-day collection sight-unseen is promising something they cannot see.

So the honest version: tell us the deadline, and we will tell you within the hour whether same-day looks achievable on your corridor, likely, or not realistic. If it is not, you will hear that instead of a booking confirmation followed by silence.

The same applies to next-day and 24-hour requests. Priority sourcing meaningfully improves the odds. It does not convert them into a commitment, and our Terms & Conditions say so in writing.

When expedited is worth it

When it is not worth it

We will say so in each of these cases.

What it costs

More than standard, and we do not publish the uplift as a figure or a percentage. It varies with how tight your window is, how dense your corridor is, the season, and what carriers on that route are currently being offered for competing loads. A published premium would be a guess dressed as a rate.

Everything that drives a standard quote still applies: distance and lane density, vehicle size and running condition, open or enclosed, and access at both ends. See FAQ — Cost & Pricing.

Frequently asked questions

What is expedited car transport? A priority service that raises what we pay a carrier so your vehicle is the load a driver takes first rather than one that waits. It shortens the wait for pickup; it does not change how fast a truck can legally drive.

Does expedited guarantee my delivery date? No. Our Terms state that pickup and delivery dates are estimates and no guaranteed date is offered. Expedited improves the odds of fast collection significantly — it does not override weather, traffic or regulated driver hours.

How much faster is expedited? That depends entirely on your corridor. On a busy route the difference can be small, because standard bookings are collected quickly anyway. On a thin route it can be substantial. We will tell you which yours is before you pay for it.

Is expedited worth the money? Only if your date genuinely cannot move. If you have a few days of flexibility, you will usually get a better price and a similar outcome on a standard booking.

Can I get expedited enclosed transport? You can ask, and we will be honest about the odds. Enclosed carriers are a much smaller pool, so enclosed and urgent work against each other. If speed matters most, open transport gives us far more carriers to source from.

Can you collect the same day? Sometimes, on dense corridors with a carrier already nearby. We will not promise it in advance, because promising same-day collection sight-unseen is a promise about someone else's truck. Tell us your deadline and we will tell you quickly whether it looks achievable on your route.

Is same-day auto transport actually possible? Same-day collection is possible; same-day cross-country delivery is not, and no carrier can make it so. What same-day realistically means in this industry is a fast pickup, after which transit is governed by distance and regulated driver hours.

Do you offer same-day vehicle transport nationwide? We will attempt it anywhere in the 48 contiguous states and DC, and the odds vary enormously by corridor. Dense metro-to-metro routes are the realistic candidates; thin rural lanes generally are not, whatever you are willing to pay.

What if my vehicle does not run? Non-running vehicles need winch-equipped carriers, which is a narrow pool. Expedited helps less here than on a standard vehicle, and we will tell you that rather than take the premium.

Does expedited cost more on long routes? Not necessarily by distance — it depends on carrier competition on your specific corridor. A short thin lane can cost more to expedite than a long dense one.
